a Virginia Farm wedding with Cozy Nooks + Lanterns
We absolutely loved being a part of this farm wedding. The bride and groom wanted their look to be eclectic and cozy. They were married at a family farm in Virginia and wanted everything about their day to feel organic, like the decor could have been collected from around their farm house. (In fact, many of the decor pieces the bride collected from thrift and antique stores around the area!). The flowers were arranged in various vintage vessels — everything from trophy cups to old milk bottles. We used a variety of furniture and mantles to create “cozy nooks” outside the tent, where guests could retreat and lounge away from the dance floor.
The bonus: the fireworks that surprised everyone later that evening!
Here you’ll see our boat bar (used for their oyster raw bar!), mantles, variety of furniture, lanterns galore and lighting to help guests find their way back to their cars. What you won’t see is our restroom trailer – as it was tucked out of view.
