A Charlottesville native and graduate of Washington and Lee (2005), Ben Morris joined his sister Dickie in working in events in 2011. She is the founder of Just a Little Ditty, an award-winning event planning firm based in Charlottesville, VA. After observing some gaps in the industry, he determined to fill them by starting his own event rentals company. That was the birth of Stonegate Event Rentals (SER), originally including furniture and decor and gradually shifting to the logistical rentals that are required to support the booming industry all over the state. SER offers generator and luxury restroom trailer bathroom rentals for events of all types and sizes, supporting the necessary infrastructure to make a vision become reality. Ben is known for his reliability, kindness and professionalism and is sought after by major local companies and individuals to be part of their event. From presidential inaugurations, celebrity weddings, intimate anniversary parties or the beloved vineyard wedding, he will be there to make it happen. Ben loves his work and when he is not busy on-site, he is out on a boat oystering, crabbing, or spending time with his wife, Julia, and their English lab, Kona.
