we are loving… crates!
Vintage crates are an amazing event multi-tasker. Secure a whole set for your event and you can use them to fill in a ton of little details. The crates will bring a cohesive but varied (each one is different!) look to an event.
Crates work well as centerpieces. Fill them with flowers, and voilá! Be sure to have a few extra around if you’ve got a photographer–crates are great for photo ops (think boutonnieres, bouquets, programs, ring shots, etc.).
Use crates for their original purpose: to store food and drinks. (Throw in a gingham napkin to keep things tidy, if you wish). Even better, turn crates upside down for food display. Create a whole tablescape by arranging these vintage pieces in different ways.
As decor elements, crates can be used to stage extras that relate to your theme. Complete decor by filling a crate to overflowing with fresh fruit. Display a few vintage cameras, or use crates to create end tables for seating.
Crates are frequently used to store favors or file escort cards, or, to hold ceremony programs at the aisle. Crates are a functional and stylish way to do just about anything!
