Pricing and Details
Each event is different and there are many factors that go into selecting the correct restroom trailer. Please fill out the contact form with all your event details or call our office at 434.260.1821 and we will provide you with our recommendations.
Yes, we provide long-term luxury restroom trailers for event venues, homes, or businesses that might be undergoing a bathroom renovation or experiencing plumbing issues. There are cost savings in comparison to a one-off rental and we handle all the servicing to keep it easy for you.
Yes, we do have fully ADA compliant restroom trailer rentals to accommodate your guests or to maintain your building ADA compliance during a bathroom renovation.
Our rentals are very seasonal so we recommend reaching out when you begin considering dates. Generally, most rentals book six months to a year in advance, depending on the season.
Luxury restroom trailers are sometimes referred to as “potty trailers,” “bathroom trailers,” “portable toilets,” we’ve even overheard them called “the really nice bathrooms.” They differ from conventional chemical toilets in that they don’t have any smell, they are climate controlled, they have running water and flushing toilets. They are clean, a.k.a. no more worrying about your nice attire getting dirty when you go to the bathroom!
Venue and Location
Yes, all of our trailers require both water and power to function. Ideally, both would be available within 100’ of your desired trailer location. These can include a garden hose hookup and a minimum of a 20 amp power circuit. If these are not available, we can supply fresh water and provide a generator rental to meet your needs.
Nope! This is all included in your rental. All you need to provide is an on-site contact to meet us upon delivery to show us your desired installation location.
Absolutely! We are happy to meet you on location for a site visit. Depending on the scope of your rentals and the location, there can be an additional fee for this service.
We frequently serve Charlottesville, Richmond, Harrisonburg, Blacksburg, Central Southwest, Northern Virginia and DC. We also deliver to venues outside these regions, please get in touch to discuss your needs.
Delivery and Setup
We will take care of the delivery, installation and setup so you can focus on enjoying your event! Our drivers are all equipped with late model 4×4 trucks and the experience to properly install your trailer while minimizing installation impacts to your property.
We are flexible! We generally touch base the week prior to your event so we can balance our commitments, your event vendors’ schedules, and the weather. These trailers are often on grass, so if it’s going to be raining we will work to get your trailer in beforehand. Likewise, many vendors require power to test their own equipment, so we will work to get the generators in before they arrive. We prefer not to deliver the day of an event, but can certainly make that happen if needed. Deliveries outside of standard business hours may incur additional fees.
We will take care all cleaning and waste pumping as part of your rental fee. If you have an extended rental or heavy use, we can set up additional cleanings and waste pumping as needed.
All of our trailers are designed and maintained to provide stand alone reliable service for your guests. While an attendant is not necessary, many clients enjoy the added peace of mind that comes with having an on-site attendant. This individual will keep the trailer tidy throughout your event, while monitoring the trailer.
Generator specific FAQ
If you do not have power (one or two 20 amp circuits, depending) within 100’ of your restroom trailer location, you will likely need a generator.
Potentially, but unlikely. Most household power is 120 volts (strength of power), and 20 amps (volume of power). When you string multiple extension cords together you can get a “voltage drop” over the course of that run, so when you get to the end of the extension cords you might be at 105 volts. If you operate a trailer or other vendor on a sub-par voltage, you risk damaging the equipment. It’s similar to breathing from a snorkel: a short snorkel is easy to breath from and you can enjoy your time in the water. Whereas a snorkel 100’ long can make it hard to breath. Our generator packages ensure all your vendors will have adequate power, without the potential for a voltage drop or the trip hazards that come along with extension cords strewn all over the place.
Most entire home generators are wired directly into the home’s power panel, which distributes power all over the house. The nature of most tented events means that a lot of power is needed for all your vendors (restrooms, band, catering, lighting, fans/heaters) in a single location. Most homes are not designed to provide this much power in a single location, which is why an event generator package is often needed.
Yes, we have a number of rental power boxes that will allow you to pull power from your car charger. These boxes then convert that power into usable circuits. This approach if often used for catering or a restroom trailer at the garage, but it’s often difficult to get this power all the way to a tent.
Potentially, if you can tolerate the noise. Most homeowner or construction grade generators are very loud, equivalent to a lawn mower running next to your tent. Before you choose to go that route, make sure to go listen to its noise level.
Yes! We have a variety of adapters and power boxes that will allow your food truck to hook into our silenced event generators. Most food trucks have a loud generator attached to them, so this is an easy way to reduce their noise output.
Most of our generators are mounted on trailers within a sound deadening enclosure. We cannot tow both a restroom trailer and a generator at the same time, so your generator will need a dedicated delivery vehicle. Generators that can run only your restroom trailer can be delivered on the restroom trailer delivery vehicle.
Similarly to how cars have odometers to indicate distance driven, all of our diesel generators have an hour meter that tells us how long the unit has been actively running. Upon delivery we take an hour meter reading. Upon pickup, we do so again. The difference in these hours indicates the length of time the generator ran for the event, which will determine the final bill. Some of our units have the fuel capacity to run for two or three days continuously, so it is ultimately the client’s responsibility to ensure the unit is turned off when not in use.
